Traders improve through consistent review and honest self-assessment, something most trading journals don't actually enforce. SynapsX pairs a structured journal with automated learning tools that turn a trader's own screenshots into study material.
Problem
Statement
Trading journals are only useful if traders actually maintain them consistently and learn from the patterns inside them, neither of which happens naturally without structure and prompting. The client needed a system that made review and learning automatic rather than optional.
Possible
Solution
We built automated quiz generation extracted directly from trading screenshots uploaded to Notion, using the OpenAI API, alongside structured trading journals with built-in emotional tracking sitting next to trade data. Weekly AI-driven analytical reports surface patterns in performance and behavior, running on a scalable FastAPI backend with a React/TypeScript frontend and automated reminders to keep consistency.
